PERENNIAL GRASS SEED PRODUCTION

Our forage grass seed breeding focuses on productive, high-yielding, disease-resistant perennial grasses with high nutritional value: perennial ryegrass, meadow fescue and bluegrass varieties, and orchard grass.

Meanwhile, for lawn grass seed production, varieties with slow growth and low weight, with turf health and density are selected.

 

HOW DOES THE COOPERATION PROCESS WORK?

The initial breeding material is multiplied on the farms of our partner SAATZUCHT STEINACH in Germany. The resulting seed is passed on to the Lithuanian farms working with us and growing these varieties under contract. Their harvests are processed and bought back, and then sent to wholesale customers.

Throughout the process, we provide advice from experienced agronomists who not only help choose the right varieties and plant species to grow, but also ensure that the best possible harvest is obtained.
